Hello and welcome to my first blogpost.
I thought a lot about what I can post here and decided to start with one of the many teaching tales my grandmother used to tell me. When the days where cold and snow covered the forest outside of her little hut, there was not much else to be heard, but her voice and the crackling of the fire. I wish to share those fond memories with you.
This tale, like all tales, is mostly fiction, but a core of truth can be found if you read between the lines. While the tales were of course told to me in German, I tried my best to preserve the meaning when translated into English.
Without further ado, enjoy.

There was once a small village, nestled between rolling hills and ancient forests of the old world. In this village, there lived a humble farmer named Thomas. Thomas was a man of simple means, but his heart harbored dreams of prosperity for his family and his community. Legends spoke of the demon Bune, a guardian of wealth, and Thomas, driven by a deep desire to improve his life and the lives of his loved ones, decided to embark on a journey to seek Bune's favor.
For weeks, Thomas trekked through dense woods and crossed treacherous mountains until he reached a hidden cave, said to be a sacred place where Bune could be summoned. The cave entrance was adorned with old and sacred symbols of power. Symbols, which belong to the great dragon.
With unwavering determination, Thomas entered the cave and began a daily ritual of meditation and prayer, seeking communion with Bune. Each day, he expressed his dreams of prosperity not only for himself but for the entire village. Thomas showed patience in his persistent efforts, devotion in his unwavering commitment, and faith in the power of Bune to bring about positive change.
Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months, but Thomas remained steadfast. He tended to a small garden with an altar as its centerpiece right outside the cave, symbolizing his dedication to growth and prosperity. He carved intricate symbols into the cave walls, a visual representation of his faith etched into the very foundation of the space where he sought Bune's favor.
One fateful day, as Thomas was deep in meditation, a presence filled the cave. A warm light enveloped him, and the air seemed to hum with energy. The golden dragon, the embodiment of Bune, materialized before him. Its eyes, filled with ancient wisdom, locked onto Thomas.
"You have shown great patience, devotion, and faith," the dragon spoke, its voice echoing through the cave. "Your commitment has not gone unnoticed."
Bune explained that the true wealth he could bestow went beyond material riches. In return for Thomas's dedication, Bune offered to open up opportunities for him, which will increase his knowledge and wealth. Thomas, grateful for the benevolence bestowed upon him, returned home.
With the opportunities opened up by Bune, Thomas transformed the village. Crops flourished, livestock thrived and profitable trade routes were started. He shared his wisdom with his fellow men, turning his home into a beacon of prosperity. The village became known not for its material wealth but for the generosity and unity that radiated from its heart.
Thomas's story spread, becoming a legend of patience, devotion, and faith. The villagers, inspired by his journey, embraced these virtues, and the name of Bune became synonymous with benevolence and the rewards of selfless dedication.
And so, the small village flourished, not just in material wealth, but in the richness of its people's hearts, all thanks to the enduring patience, unwavering devotion, and profound faith in the power of Bune.
